Getting to know me

My name is Christine, and I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years. I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from UNC Charlotte and have gained experience across a wide range of settings within the mental health system. I began my career in an inpatient psychiatric hospital and have since worked in emergency rooms, school‑based services, community programs, and outpatient practices. I have also served as a Clinical Director and developed a Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Program for a hospital in the Charlotte area.
Working with individuals in diverse settings—and witnessing how people cope in crisis, heal, and transform their lives—continues to inspire me and fuel my passion for this work.
I am certified in EMDR and Brainspotting and trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, Behavioral Therapy, Solution‑Focused Therapy, Nutrition and Mental Health, Mindfulness, and the Gottmans’ Bringing Baby Home program. My specialties include Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Trichotillomania, Anxiety Disorders (as a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional), and Trauma.
Every person has a unique story, and each story deserves an individualized approach. My goal is to work collaboratively with you to create a treatment plan that supports the goals you choose for your healing and growth.
