Cancellation Policy

All couples are welcome; Bringing Baby Home honors and affirm diverse identities and relationships. The following outlines the workshop guidelines. Please review each statement. By continuing with enrollment, you acknowledge that you both understand and agree to these expectations. 1. We understand that this is a psychoeducational workshop, not a couples counseling group. 2. We understand that if we wish to pursue couples counseling, we can visit Gottman.com to locate a certified couple’s therapist. 3. We understand that couples and families are diverse. If our personal beliefs or values differ from others in the group, we agree to withhold judgment and refrain from negative comments. 4. We agree to communicate respectfully and avoid profanity, abusive language, or mocking others. 5. We acknowledge that if we engage in verbally abusive or harmful language toward others, we may be asked to leave the workshop and will not receive a refund. 6. We agree to offer verbal support, encouragement, and to participate as active members of the group. 7. We understand that Bringing Baby Home is an intensive program, and to gain the most benefit, we will participate in the practicums and complete the assigned homework. 8. We agree not to discuss other group members’ personal information or experiences outside of the group. 9. We will make every effort to contact the group coordinator if we anticipate being late. We understand that missed sessions are non refundable. 10. We understand that the cost of the workshop is $250 and we are responsible to purchase the ‘Bringing Baby Home’ manual from the “Gottman Institute’ for an additional $50. 11. We understand that if we ‘no show’ for the workshop, we do not get a refund. 12. We understand that if we do not provide a 48hr notice of cancellation, we do not get a refund.
